Those level 1 2v2 skirmishes look so promising and effective, at very least to feel out your opponent. The problem I have is that I never have a lane partner who wants to play this way. They prefer sit back, with earliest pressure at Level 2 spike. When I start jousting enemy, my lane partner is basically afk. The trade fails because it's 1v2, but it was a good play... if my ally had played with me.

It is because this channel offers only knowledge from hindsight perspective. But some points still stand: 1. go for good trades. 2. go for safe trades : when enemy is locked into animations (spells, auto-attacking), abuse vision, cooldowns, pressure under turret etc. 3. predict what your enemy wants to do, same goes for your team mates as they can prove to be the bigger enemy in some games. 4. bait out enemy spells, position and zone properly, take minion aggro into account That's fundamental knowledge, don't try to copy things from the video, that's how you bait yourself into forcing certain situations rather than focus on LEARNING how to create opportunities for good trades. Also you don't make excuses such as "if my ally had played with me". That translates into "I blame others for my inefficiency". You are concerned about your own elo, not other players' elo, so be responsible for it rather than irresponsible.

could someone explain why viper decided to shove the wave at 6:50? Normally I would slow push this here because im ahead and can deny as much as possible but he opted to shove (which im assuming is the better option). did he predict a fight would break out and wanted to move first?

With the informations i see until he starts shoving the wave: 1. Hec is going bot jgl so enemy jgl should be top jgl, as the standard is mirroring. - later we see thats not the case 2. Pro by shoving - pressure, drake, dive, trades and forced back - con: gank - hecarim is there for backup, if ganked. - gank would result in a 3v3 with kaisa and lulu ahead = low risk Hec could also help diving them but lucian and zilean would need to lose hp before that - trades before hec arrives would be nessescary. 3. Pro by slowpush - exp and gold adv over lucian - low risk But slowpush would result in a wave under enemy tower by the time hec is top jgl = enemy jgl should b4e clearing bot by that time - viege gank would result in a 3vs2 - also no pressure is building up with a slowpush. Therefore i would say shoving the wave at 6:50 is 1. Safer by the state of the jgl, 2. Gives more possabilites for more rewarding obj. as a slowpush.
