in marching band its. (on the field) Drum Line, the Quads, Bass Drums, snares and whatever goes out there. and off the field is Pit(bells and the other stuff) But your right, percussion.

The snare drum part at about 01:08. Measure 38 and the following measures with the one bar repeats. In the recording they are not really playing the exact same as in measure 37, right? I mean I can't hear the eight note at the beginning of the following measures and measure 42. Did anybody notice that as well or are my ears playing a trick on me?

This is one of our show tunes this year, this year is also my first year in the marching band I've don't band since 6th grade I'm an 9th grader this year, I played trombone all through middle school(6-8th) grade but this year I decided to switch it up I am now a Sousa it was the best decision I could have made my section leader is the best this song is my favorite out of the 3 we play I'm so glad I decided to play sousaphone

I even texted the high brass group chat (cause I'm also in marching band) and, in the end, I had a "solo" on Shut Up and Dance. Looking back, it was kinda funny honestly. Edit: there were also only like five or so trumpets in that pep band
