Almost every single one of them still don't get it, they were still making excuses for their crimes. They all down played their own involvement, if you cannot be truly honest about what you've done then you're not clued in. While you're locked up of course you will have big plans for your freedom one day, but if you can't accept some responsibility then it'll just continue to do the same thing. It's not a "mistake" these are choices! Choices mean everything. If they can get out and make each and every choice based only on what the consequences could be, they can and will be successful.

I truly wish these ladies strength and control in their lives, it’s quiet and even boring but it’s freedom.

When they speak of freedom and how they didn't take advantage of it or appreciate it, made me think of my current situation. I live in Melbourne, Australia. The most locked down city in the world. I didn't appreciate or take advantage of breathing fresh air or being able to walk into a shop to purchase whatever I liked at any time or to go to a restaurant whenever I felt like going out. When it's taken away only then do we think about the simplest things in life that we take for granted. I haven't committed a crime but somehow it feels the same!

@Cayla I feel for you I also lost my mom and dad within 6 month time span. One in dec 2020 the other this year and once they’re gone you realize just how much you miss them. No more pick up the phone just to say HELLO. I have some recorded voicemails on my phone I go back and listen to when I get really really lonely. It’s December and a year ago I lost my mom but I made a promise to my kids and grandchildren that this won’t affect me nor ruin the holiday. Life is way to short and I need my loved ones surrounding me and each other. These women I hope get their lives back on track and enjoy their family and most important their children. 🙏🏼

The second woman, I’m only 3 mins in, so far has shown 0 accountability for anything prior to is since getting locked up. She got robbed she she assaulted people. The PO did a surprise search, even though it’s states clearly in my bond conditions that they can and will, and found my gun that is solely for protection because I’m gay. God woman. I should not be surprised. I am sure that most inmates struggle with personal accountability but 3 mins in it is definitely what is jumping out at me the most. Edit: 4.5 minutes in and the very next woman says her being there was the “result of an accident” but they said it was “an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. “ wtf. Sometimes I am envious of others people delusion about themselves. It must be nice to never feel accountable for anything you do or say. That anything you do do or say is a result of someone else of something else. It is never anything they have done. How freeing that must be. Sounds cynical considering they are in jail and the opposite of free but average clear thinking individuals will never feel the freedom they feel if never being held accountable to themselves.

Some people really don't get, that THEIR ACTIONS at the end of the day is what got them into said situations. I went years not truly holding accountability. Not because I didn't wanna own it, I truly didn't get it. It's like loaning someone money you really ain't got to loan.. then you can't pay a bill or rent loose your home or lights get turned off, and people will blame this asshole that didn't pay them back. When is really then loaning the money out that got them there in the end

After false charges were brought against me many years ago, my life really started to take a turn for the worse, and with ptsd after a horrible fire too, but I picked myself up eventually and got it together!!!! I never was a criminal though, honestly not my style whatsoever, so I really have nothing in common with these women, but I'm so happy that I'll never see in the inside of a jail again, and no truer words spoken, about Freedom means Everything!!! Exactly 💗
@thedollbabys10732 жыл бұрын
Girl I had a false restraining order put on me by my mothers soon to be ex which is far less than your situation as I never needed to go to jail but it still ruined my life for a bit. Literally was granted the restraining order for "annoyance" when I was protecting my mother who was abused and later on got a restraining order against this person granted and this person confessed to abusing my mother. Then this person PAID for a lawyer for my restraining order to be dropped! It's still on my record tho. The justice system is so corrupt at times. Like the accuser admitted to abuse and paid for an attorney to drop charges against me, the one they were "afraid of" and yet I have it on my record? Makes no damn sense lol

@thedollbabys10732 жыл бұрын
Im not here making excuses but half the charges are ridiculous like I understand possession of cocaine/drugs but then they add possession of drug paraphernalia? You already charged them with a drug charge which is understandable but now having the pipe or some tin foil too? Don't you need those to actually do the drug? It should be part of the possession of the drug not a whole separate charge. They just throw so much at you so you can give in lol. Like the girl who burned her guy in with a cigarette... I doubt he is some innocent victim and I doubt she could've killed him with those actions lol. Most of these charges are drug related which means we have a drug addiction problem we currently aren't fixing because obviously they keep going to jail and are still addicted. Maybe try something else? Addiction is a disease and we keep doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I bet some pharmaceutical company out there has the cure they just don't want the use of their opioids and other scheduled drugs to go down once someone is cured of the disease of addiction. Think about all the addicts being cured? Their sales of pharmaceutical drugs will plummet, the insurance industry will plummet since there will be less break ins, car accidents etc, we'd pay less taxes for crime and law (I am not a defund the police supporter fyi...I'm the total opposite), less doctor and hospital visits which will have these people plus health insurance loose so much more money, less specialists employed, less lawyers and legal teams who get paid, less correctional institutions which are for profit private contractors, less tv shows like this that bring in ratings. Our country profits on crime.
