You first have to prove why adultery is wrong. Your religion should give you your ethical and moral values….However, shamanism don’t have any. Why do you think when the man brings home another women, no one can straight up say “stop it, that is wrong” instead they only say something like “it’s not easy to control two wives” and “you have to be patient to be able to take on this challenge” etc if another shaman person says “it’s wrong” that’s just his or her opinion. (Someone else who has multiple wives can say it’s fine). Obviously that person saying it is wrong is “wrong” bc a man can legally have more than one wife in the Hmong culture. If you’re mad or upset at what’s happening to this lady in the story and is a shaman, you are borrowing from other religions including Christianity.
