Sir, We also having an Ambassador Nova 1996 model with BMC 1.5 L Diesel Engine and Four Speed Gear Box. I have a doubt. Nowadays, a small whisling noise is coming when engine runs in about 2500- 3000 rpm. The sound goes when clutch pedal is pressed. Clutch is engaging and disengaging correctly. Is this Clutch Release bearing noise? How can it be solved?

Hello brother. Most probably it is due to wear and tear of the clutch release bearing. As long as your clutch is engaging and disengaging properly nothing to worry about. It is quite common to have this noise from clutch release bearing after the initial few 1000kms in most diesel vehicles.

Hello brother. Bush kit for front suspension cost around 2500INR. Some of the bushes need to be inserted by the hydraulic press. That cost me around 400 INR. After suspension rebuild had to do the alignment which is another 500 INR. Spray paint using can - 400 INR Then I replaced all the nuts, bolts, washers, new shims etc might have cost me around 500 INR So in total it cost me around 4300 INR. Labour charge not included as all the work was done by me and my brother.

@@azasj964 Yes of course. This is the standard radial tyre size from factory for all Ambassadors. Same for Isuzu petrol as well.

My ambassador has front coil springs instead of shock absorbers is it originally that way or modded P.s mine is a 1975 ambassador mark 2 (deluxe)

Ambassador always came with a front torsion bar suspension. Coil springs up front is a mod job afaik. Kindly can share some images of the suspension setup to our email id bosegarageisnow@gmail.com
