Hu is clearly the best race at the moment. Clear advantage vs orc, strong vs ud, best expo ability by far, insane creep and build speed w militia. Peasant micro is not the easiest, but it's a tiny compromise for getting to power build an expo in 12 seconds, or kill 3 burrows right in the orc's face.

i wonder if it's possibly genre burnout? i definitely go in phases where i love mobas and where i can't stand the idea. have you played any of the very good roguelike/deckbuilding games? games like slay the spire, darkest dungeon, monster train, and so on? i feel like they have the sorts of player expression and customization that you enjoy, while also having really good moment-to-moment decision-making. i'd love to see your approach to these games. just a thought. love the content no matter what.

I noticed that an MK with L3 bash and 6 gloves of haste, bashes no more than one that attacks slow. Does Bliz have restrictions on the max number of bashes that can occur in a given amount of time?

I was testing a build order against computer and got 5 gloves of haste so I skilled bash 3 thinking it would permabash opponents but it wasnt even close to doing so. Proceeded to level MK to 10 with 5 gloves and slippers. It didnt work as well as expected. Just seems to me there is a proc limit in play, thought someone could confirm the specifics of what seemed obvious. Is there an offline hack / dota type deal where you could set attack speed to 5+ per second for example to reproduce and confirm?

​@@andyh8239 I don't think Bash has any hardcoded behavior. I tested a custom Bash with 100% proc chance and it procs every attack. I also tested and compared a "fast" and "slow" Mountain King each with Level 3 Bash and the fast one was proccing 3-4x more often. However: Pseudo Random Distribution (shortened PRD) is a mechanic from the Warcraft 3 engine where seemingly random outcomes are instead pseudo-random, limiting the factor of luck significantly. Pseudo-random distributions are used to calculate chance based passive abilities including Critical Strike, Bash, and Drunken Brawler. So perhaps you're experiencing that, but even then it should still Bash more often with faster attack speed. Mountain King has a base attack cooldown of 2.220 seconds. At level 10, with 6 gloves, that's about 115% increased attack speed. Effective attack speed = Base attack speed / (1 + Increased attack speed) = 2.220 / (1 + 1.15) ≈ 2.220 / 2.15 ≈ 1.0326 attacks per second Now, let's incorporate the bash chance. With a 40% bash chance, the average number of attacks it would take to land a bash is the reciprocal of the bash chance: Average attacks to bash = 1 / Bash chance = 1 / 0.4 = 2.5 attacks With a stun duration of 2 seconds you would need to land a bash within this time frame. With an average of 2.5 attacks needed to trigger a bash: Time to land a bash = Average attacks to bash / Effective attack speed = 2.5 / 1.0326 ≈ 2.42 seconds In this scenario, it's not guaranteed to permastun within the 2-second stun duration because, on average, it takes approximately 2.42 seconds to land a bash. Heroes suffer a 1-second stun duration so it's even less likely for them.

there was some kind of mod, that let's you play entire campaign in duo coop. and you load character inventories via code at start of next level !!! I vague remember playing it many years ago. In alliance campaign one person was Jaina and other is Arthas Etc

So a question from a person that is complete noob Why do people attack summons first? When mage summors the water elemental I see a lot of people focusing on the elemental first same with the shaman's wolves, I see people attacking wolves first Is it bcs they are just really squishy compared to the enemy heroes? Is it bcs forcing enemy to resummon them with mana is worth the effort?

My understanding would be that the summons deal simliar damage but with smaller health pools so that killing them will reduce your damage taken more rapidly. But more importantly, the summons give experience when you kill them. So instead of taking a ton of damage to get your enemy's hero low, and then they just teleport out, you can actually gain something from the fight instead of losing resources with no gain. I'm only slightly less noob so take this with a grain of salt, lol. Oh, also when in the base the summons (wolves) can get through a "walled off" base but the hero can't.

Summons are, atleast at the beginning, more squishy than Footmen and Grunts. But they actually deal quite a bit of damage. So it is a good idea to focus them, since it is a fast way to remove DPS from the field
