wickler's defence is so good. imagine if he could stay healthy and have a mol type blocker

He choked in the 3rd set big time. The best defenders are able to dig and subsequently put the ball away - Wickler has trouble doing that.

@@druidzown I went back to see this "choke".... I counted 4 serves to Wickler in set 3. 3/4 were sideout points. 2/4 of his attacks on sideout went direct to the sand for kills. Not a choke

I'm happy for Wickler that he is performing this well with his "new" Partner after the retirement of Thole

SWE have changed their defence game system in this match. Their second direct hit as well. Probably the GER services are floating too much so that is impossible to have a good reception of a floating ball to be able to hit on the 2nd touch. What a wonderful match... What a great level. I would love to watch all points.
