Hence I can't share much of the display for now. I will be doing a proper display test later when the actual review unit arrives. Thank you for understanding 🙏. Update 1 : At this point of time,the OZO playback supports only the device speaker. I don't appreciate any difference in my earbuds.

HND was the only phone nakers that did not sell our data to Meta now they do wich is a BIG NO NO for me because i love stock Android. New HMD devices is coming with Meta spywares framework built-in the OS wich i dont like it. No problem with some apps downloaded from Play Store but having a Neta spywares as a system app is not acceptable to me. I now have Nokia G 42 wich only comes with Netflix. HMD devices are not cheap

The DNA is still there..and the Skyline is the closest to a good midrange Nokia device..so I support it fully. Better than previous HMD devices.

Firmware recovery tool for user to update to latest patch, boot to nonbroken OS slot and flash to recover from soft brick. As for the motivation, care center for Nokia has been closing here and there. Before user had to send their phone for warranty, it's best to let them try to recover first. At the very least, there will lesser phones being returned due to simple soft brick 2. Bootloader unlock. There are dedicated custom ROM maintainers for older HMD phones despite the unofficial bootloader unlock. Giving bootloader unlock will regain enthusiast interest again as well as gaining more beta testers. What makes people to avoid beta testing program on X20 are lack of bootloader unlock as well as lack of firmware recovery tool That said, I don't really mind if HMD didn't bother with this since Nothing already provided pretty much this. Buying Skyline right now means I'm out of support for both hardware and software

The with 10 hours of active use, it is not bad either but perhaps battery life needs improvement, what is happening in HMD now, is it they planning the August update as a true performance for HMD skyline? Or will we see a magic in August?

from my experience with X20, initially it was below 1 day battery. Once it adapted to my pattern, it standby around 2 days with both wifi and data turned on all the time. best case was 5.4 where it reached 5 days of standby time with both wifi and data turned on. while I have my own optimization tricks, HMD phones really need to learn your usage pattern for adaptive battery. it helps the 5.4 to standby pretty much 2-3 days despite being 3 years old phone now, which most phone tend to have battery degraded

PD-standard charging is fine with me. most chinese/indian phones fake their actual charging wattags anyway, which even Samsung did that to some extent I already have a decent PD charger so don't care about chargers anymore, unless if they do 45-65W single port charger which I have a niche usecase for

Very disappointed because holding the phone puts fingers on the lens. Later hold from the middle half device was invisible not a professional way to explain the camera section....... Supposed to show device not hand ✋
