Watching from The Gambia. Language is wolof pronounced as 'war love' . The Gambia and Senegal were part of the Mali empire . These two countries were a confederation called 'Senegambia' until 1987. They still share common ties

Thaank you ,am really confused between language varities ,and language varition

'Language varieties' means one language has many dialects, and 'language variation' is the concept of the possibility of the fact that one language can have many variations.

hello, thank you for the explanation. But I am not sure about macro linguistics and micro linguistics, because my teacher told us that: micro linguistics is the isolation of the language from other extreme features. However, macro linguistics is the correlation between linguistics and other field.
@fairouzkhoudour77102 жыл бұрын
This has to do with applied linguistics and interdisciplinarity I think, Where the first linguists believed that Applied Linguistics is unilateral ( only linguistic knowledge can be used in solving real problems), and by the 1980s the field became interdisciplinary, in other words, open to any other field of human knowledge.
