Hi Missa! Sad to see you not love this one! The look you created is probably one of my favorite I’ve ever seen from you yet despite you not loving it! 😂💙 Just to clarify for those wondering- the formula has not changed, nor has the manufacturer. Some palettes, colors, etc are going to have variations in performance based on any number of things that can occur in manufacturing! Happy a great deal of your sosij crew mentioned loving it but I’m always taking feedback, even the negative feedback, in for future projects. This is the first time I’ve heard anyone say anything negative about this new BB palette. And I see in the comments that you aren’t alone. Really interesting. I’m wondering why I haven’t heard this from anyone else. Really wish people would just be 100% transparent and honest with their reviews and opinions. I always trust yours. I have all but the primal from BB and I’m enjoying this one a lot. I can criticize some of the shadows in some palettes like the neon in surge, but neons are neons. It’s possible some people just like it or haven’t had issues. There could be some differences in palettes or just preferences. Doesn’t mean people aren’t being honest.

I so appreciate your honest review. I love BB, I have 3 of their palettes including Surge and I swear you cant go wrong with their palettes. BUt I saw this palette and for the first time I was not drawn to a BB palette. I think its pretty, but not intriguing enough for my liking, so I skipped it. Good thing too.

I love Blend Bunny but I think what made me get this palette was because of the mini palette she launched with it. I think we all own all these colors from other brands (and her) so I didn’t feel too inspired by it. I do love it, but I understand where your honesty comes from. Also I love that peach lip

The shimmers in the It's Freakin Bats palette are VERY unique! Highly recommend! I had been lusting after this palette but I now realise that it was just the excitement getting to me. I do love the purples though.

I don't think you were terribly negative about it. It's ok to say something doesn't knock your socks off and you clearly made it work for you. I liked the stars too. Gave it a kind of nautical look. :)

Crazy how makeup is different for everyone. I had no issues with mine. My absolute faves are the Primal and All done up though 🙌🏼

I think everything feels the same but I haven't used the black. All the deep shades work beautifully. Idk if maybe you got a dud or if like you've thought they were so amazing that you like set your hopes so high maybe? Idk. I haven't had issues at all and I haven't seen others struggle that typically use colorful shadows. I'm sad you don't love it.

I love the color selection of the palette, the mermaid scales and that they called it “lure”, it’s Evil Siren Mermaid inspired since they lure you in by singing. 😍

The color story is right up my alley (reminds me a lot of the Scooby Doo palettes from Glamlite) but the performance issues and generally "meh, it's fine" reviews have me staying clear.

I think you’re right. My quality in my Lure was comparable to other BB palettes but I think the biggest appeal was the color story and it’s easily replicated in their other palettes.

Love mine. No issues. My only complaint is that some of the columns of shades don’t go together (like the pink shimmer with the pink mattes)

I was also very disappointed in this palette! These shadows wore off and looked terrible at the end of the day. I wear eyeshadow every day, from all different brands every but use the same eye primer. They all look beautiful after 12+ hours of wearing them. Not these shadows. I did 5 different looks with this palette and none of them lasted the whole day. 😞 I was so disappointed because I love the color story and they swatched do well. They just don’t have staying power!

I love my surge, blends, and primal palettes. They are amazing. But, this colour story doesn't hook me in. I feel like of the purples were more cool toned it would have been perfect. But with my primal palette I got some brushes and their handles were not glued on and some are a bit wobbly now. So maybe she is having issues with the manufacturer? Love the brand, love the palettes I have so much, but some small issues recently worry me about making another purchase.

It’s “feels” dry watching you use the eyeshadows if you know what I mean? I’ve some lovely palettes that I can’t touch as they are soo dry it gives me the heebie jeeibies 😬😩😁 sensory adhd thing 🤷‍♀️🤣 JS, PMcG and PLouise etc have velvety shadows and are lovely to use so I end up keeping the others as ornamental 😬😂
