Depotting the Juvia’s Place Masquerade Mini Palette

Love this content!! I want to depot this and magic minis. I've already done the chocolates and nudes without any damage! I have found that I really love having singles so I can make my own palettes.

Lydia M right? I find that backgrounds other than white or black distort the eye shadow colours. It’s a big bonus in favour of depotting IMO.

jkenny 4472 that’s definitely how I view it. I find that various backgrounds are not as big a factor when the pans are large but I have trouble when the pans are smaller. I’ll be depotting the Magic Mini and The Saharan soon and will be filming the process, if you’re interested.

I'm thinking about depotting all of my juvia's place palettes and order the colors in a way that makes more sense

I have depotted three of their palettes so far and I still keep them in the original colour story. That said, I completely understand where you're coming from.

Thank you! Just depotted 2 Juvias Place palettes-only 3-5 shades out of each though,and was able to keep packaging intact, and passing along the other shades. I used a paring knife to slice along the side,then wiggled the tip in between the layers until it hit the side of the pan,then carefully slid the blade underneath to loosen the pan and carefully lifted it out. Only one matte cracked a little but I repressed it. Actually did the same thing with JH Morphe palette,but did not think JP would be so similar/easy due to the pan size.

you did great on this! I depotted a few Juvias palettes using rubbing alcohol and prying them out it worked quite well except a few mattes shattered, the metallics were much more resilient haha!

I really want to give this one a try. I have this palette. I used it quite a bit but I am so tired of it. Eyeshadows perform great but there are so many dupe shades. I would love to combine it with other colours. It may go wrong but I am not using it as it is. Thanks.

I think you'll be fine. ☺️ As you can see from the video, it's pretty straightforward, as long as we loosen the shadows from the bottom of the tray and not try to get at them from the top. Happy depotting to you. Let me know how it goes!

Just one more to go before I take a break for a while. I really thought about which palettes I wanted to depot...and, more importantly, why. I don't want to depot just to depot. I think that's how some of us come to regret it afterwards. So far, so good.
