This song is from Kaab Nqausvas' 4th album. They were the first hmong band in America. Kwm Foom (Fong Kue) is the vocals on this song. Great voice.

Fong Kue still lives in RI, and he still performs every year at our annual Kue new years with Sai Koua Kue (bassist). Tou Kue moved down south and owns a chicken farm. Majority of the band members still live here in RI but are no longer musicians.

It was an honor when I was young living in Rhode Island to watch them practice in the basement. Yes, they did that. I was so envious of them and wanted to be a singer too. Wow how much time has gone by. That was 1987 when my family finally left and moved to California. Worst decision ever.
