In Northern Vietnam, the border between Vietnam and China, Hmong girls are kidnapped and sold as sex slaves etc...Human trafficking is a big issue there. These girls must have been the few. I'm happy that she has found a husband who happened to be a Hmong man. I hope she will find her parents, and visit them.

Agree and support your idea. We the western Hmong can not stand this kind of action. willing to contribute donation to those who try to track down on whoever committed this crime.

After seeing this video, and the other video of this young Hmong lady, I believe she and her sisters are the Hmong from Vietnam occurring to the style of folk song she sings. She said "tus niam tias vwj cuab coj kuv tuaj muag rau Roob Kuj no" (Lady Vue Cuab sold me in China).

Unfortunately, such human trafficking will never end especially if these girls are being sold off by their own family members. About five months ago, I read up a story on Yahoo news about these two Hmong girls from Vietnam who were sold off by their own relatives. One girl is Kiab, who was sold off by her own brother and the other May Na who was sold off by her uncle. Both were sold to Chinese men as wives but they both manage to escape and are currently living in women's shelters. May Na's uncle has been arrested but none of the girls are willing to go back to live with their families again after what happened to them.

@phemnoob Unfortunately no I bought the CD and from what my tour guide tells me this video might be over a year and a half old or even more. The thing is she mention the kidnapper's husband's name. This girl is lucky enough to end up with a Hmong guy, most are not as lucky ending up with mostly Han (Suav) as the husband in another past of the country.

@samlorson without proper documentation it is very easy to leave China. Many have left China because the lack of documentation. But you might be right as there are many girl who travel to China to work especially in the rice fields. But because she never mention where she is from it's hard to say.

@samlorson You are right I got a call from my aunt . My aunt said that she is from Vietnam but don't know the where about of this woman since Guangnan is a pretty big county inside Wenshan Prefecture. My aunt is trying to track this lady down. Well see if my aunt has any luck.

well, let's help her and keep track of the old lady who did this crime to our hmong, put that old lady in jail and never let her come out, if any one can find the one who committed this crime, post your comment here and ask for donation to put the old lady in jail to death/

We need to help to stop this kind of human trafficking. How come this girl did not know where she was from, she was 16 years old at the time. It doesn't matter she is married now and have kids or good life she needs to track back to where she is from and her parent, wonder her parent sold them to the vue lady so she sold them out again.
