I can relate to this story. First off, I always keep my personally life personal. But since I can relate to this story, I figured i might as well share it. I've had 2 marriages that went down the drain due to unfaithful partners and technology. The first one was when the internet/MySpace first started and work friends ofcourse. She left me with my 2 kids at the time that was 6 and 2 years old. That was a 7 years marriage. I stayed a single parent for 3 years before I met the new person. This one has 3 kids from another father and 2 from another. She eventually moved in with me with her 3 older kids and her 2 other stayed with their dad. Both her parents had already passed away before I met her. So in a sense, you can say I felt sorry for them. She eventually moved in with me and ofcourse my parents gave me hell. All she had was 2 duffel bags of her belongings with her 3 kids. I charged her rent for the first year until we came to find out that we needed a bigger car. So I said that I don't need her rent money and we should use that towards a van. Life was was back to normal but now a family of 8. We eventually did our hmong wedding after we had our son. I get offered a new job out of state so we moved. Life was still good until she started her job. Still, I paid the full mortgage with my income and she paid her car and a few bills. That's when I started noticing her weird activity. She will always ask to look at my phone. And knowing I have nothing to hide, I'll just give it to her. So one day, I had bought her a wireless photo printer for Christmas to print out phone photos. I asked her for her phone and she went through and deleted all of her history and still didn't give me the phone to install the printer. Her excuse was that I didn't know how to use a apple phone. I've even looked our phone call record calls and noticed this number that she had talked to for hours at a time. Her excuse on that was it's work related. Meanwhile it was her boss. I knew what going from my previous marriage with of all the signs. She had gone to a few "work" related trips and the first time. She gathered all of her makeup to go with her. And when she got back, I can tell I was not missed. I had even caught a text from him one early morning from him talking about he wants to call her and talk. She goes, he must of text the wrong person. But I knew what's going on. It came down to the point where my family noticed she doesn't help around the house. I cooked dinner, ran errands, laundry, being the man, I mow and clean the yard, took the older kids to work and picked them up, drop off and pick up our son from daycare. The only thing we never shared was our bank account. But she'll check mines all the time. I never looked at hers once. But we managed. There's a whole lot of issues with her that I kept within our household. But eventually, just like a cup it can only hold so much before spilling over. Well, I come to find out that she was planning on moving out. This situation spanned over a year. I was so tired that I just said, the door is right there, you walk out, that's it. So she took a Friday while I was at work and left. She took our son with her 3 kids. And ofcourse, her boss "meca dawg" moved in with her like I had always suspected. Before she left, she had said that she wasn't happy with me but with no reason, said that I'm holding her down in life and that I was being selfish. Everything becomes an excuse when they're cheating. Her boss was a guy who is working away from home from his wife and family and just needed her as a booty call. That's what I've told her in one of our discussion. That was a 10 year marriage. It's been 3 years now. During the first year, she had asked me once to go out to eat pho, which I declined. Asked me to meet up with her and my son at the park. I also declined. She even texted me twice because her car was acting up. At which I only gave her pointers but didn't go out of my way. I've even told her, ask your guy. Only my daughter lives with me now and I get to see my son every other weekend. But I don't come face to face with her when picking up my son. It's situations where you have come from a broken marriage and to see it all over again really sucks. I am financially stable where I'm still at this home. But life goes on. Sorry if this was long but it's not even half of the story. I listened to your stories all the time. Keep up the good work.

@@triaher8031 thank you! It might sound like a one sided story but that's the truth. Never did we argue. I'm the kind of person that don't expect my significant other to bring me a cup of water during dinner or just walk off and leave my plate on the table for her to clean. Not treating her like a servant. I tried my best so I wouldn't have to start over again. But like what you said, I've gotten 2 curve balls already and at this point, I'm actually stress free, just not as happy as I would like to be. Thanks for the kind, motivating words.
