It is automatic. Waterproofing is on the lower side and we should get it as 100m standard.

You say manual winding and that seems so as the seconds hand is not moving at start of vdo...BUT THE BACK SAYS AUTOMATIC ... not on the dial ??? 🤦

Great observation. Its an automatic watch. While the initial review it was not wound up, which i realised and then corrected so that it starts ticking. It has power reserve of around 42 hours and has automatic miyota 8000 series movement.

HMT was a legend when it had a monopoly in the market. A company should not just expect people to buy their outdated, below avarage quality product just by harping on their emotions. A so called field watch with 3 atm water resistance and such poor quality loom. Why would people buy it ?! They need to massively step up their game.

It’s 41mm case diameter, not dial diameter. Dial is much smaller

That's correct, yet since dial diameter has no bearing on actual wearability, purely from a wearability perspective its has no significance. Yet it is significant in case we talk about legibility of the dial and it makes the watch a 'go to' watch since the dial would be relatively smaller.

There is sufficient loom on this watch. Please watch the full video. Date complications are typically absent in a pure field watch.

Once again HMT has let down its customers with only 30 meters of Water Resistance & no Screw Down Crown. For the Cost of this watch I would rather buy a Casio Youth with 100 meter WR or a G Shock with 200 meter WR. HMT please take note of your Customers comments & produce much improved watches ASAP before people forget your name forever
