HMT Tareeq Tiffany & Dark Blue, the Best Quartz? Compared with Casio Tiffany Blue MTP-B145, MTP-1302

Today I was browsing the HMT website and what I found is they have changed HMT Tareeq design in a bad way. They've decided to remove HQ mark from the dial surface and placed QUARTZ which is in my opinion looks boring. Major change is steel strap. They've changed the strap too. Steel strap which has shown in this video looks more premium, stylish and goes well with the overall dial design. I wanted to buy Tareeq but now not gonna buy the newly HMT Tareeq.

Good points, the HQ was a better wording compared to Quartz, but still it's not a big let down. The new bracelets which HMT is giving with Quartz Kohi and Tareeq, are not that good as even with their standard bracelet, even the one that comes with Sangam which is standard is decent, only recourse in this case is the get leather strap or change bracelet, the gold Tareeq already come with leather ones.

The limited edition came with this bracelet, but probably as it was a little hard, less flexible the website version comes with the regular HMT bracelet. You can get this bracelet if you buy the LE version if someone is selling second hand on FB, or online. I am not selling mine. Thanks for watching.

I watched some videos on KZbin of hmt tareeq quartz version, but I found some watch comes with a bump in the glass like your watch and some watch comes with no bump in the glass or plain glass. I want to buy it but I don't like the bump in the glass can you explain it me ? In website picture I can't differentiate Which one is plain glass. Please help me bro

As per my understanding HMT Tareeq comes only with protruding or bump out glass. So get any of the quartz. Advantage of protruding glass is that the watch looks thinner as steel case height is less, but protruding glass is prone to breakage as it covered area is more. Overall Tareeq is a great watch go for it. Get the color you like.

As seen in video the HMT color is closer to Tiffany blue. So personally I like that better than the sunburst Casio Tiffany Blue MTP-B145. But if you want to get a Tiffany watch and it has to be a Casio then go for Casio MTP-1302, that is a nice shade and a good sized watch.

Here is what I would suggest, get the Tareeq in Tiffany. Down the line if you need a Dark Blue watch there is a Kohinoor Quartz which comes in same shade of Dark Blue as the Tareeq, get that. This way you have two watch designs and two different shades.

Go for Tiffany, in Kohi go for Dark Blue as this Tiffany shade is unique to the Tareeq.

brass case is downside. For 2.4k HMT is providing all stainless steel case for kohinoor so why not do the same for tareeq.
