The EVA switch represents an effort to enhance the HMX switch's depth and "thock" going beyond the Canglan V2. The distinguishing feature of the EVA switch is its P4 bottom housing. By combining a T2 stem with the P4 bottom housing, the EVA switch was said to bring a more dynamic bottom-out sound while maintaining a deepper sound signature. On my end though, i just don't hear a deep switch. It's a more muted clack than other HMX switches but by no means deep.
That bring said, the EVA switch is a delightful typing and listening experience. However, as most reviews have said, (and i have to agree with) given its HMX origins, it might not reach the same level of deepness as switches from other manufacturers.
