Sad thing is, he's a dang good defender... ...when he actually defends. That's how he can play so many minutes despite Father Time breathing down his neck. By using defense to catch his breath, he can stretch out how long he lasts each game. And he does that because he ultimately has no faith in anyone. Doesn't believe the bench can keep them in the game, doesn't believe the coaching staff could come up with something better, doesn't believe that anybody else is good enough to lead the team to anything.
