Hashra'ah is actually a more mystical term than Divine Inspiration. It is the actual Intense Presence of G-d that comes down onto a person who has closed the gap between Heavenly expectations and performance of G-dly deeds. It can happen in one of two ways. Either by truly saintly people or people who are pure and in the midst of their intense pain the Shekhinah comes down to visit. And through one's aura, one can receive Divine insight. Some would call this prophetic insight or Divine Inspiration that takes place as a result of the mixing of the Shekhinah with our human aura.
