You should have sued the heck out of that ex-boss for unfair termination due to an affair between him and your wife---he wanted you out of the way, that's why he fired you! Sheesh, have the balls to fight when someone wrongly terminates your employment! The reason they moved out of state was because your ex-boss was afraid you would sue him for what he did and he knew you would most likely win, but you had no balls to pursue it! If you claim he wrongly discharge you, you could have file for unfair treatment/discrimination. You could’ve sue the company and owner for breaking your marriage. It’s wrong for a supervisor/owner of the company to have sexual relationship with their employees. Even if you didn’t have money, you could’ve gotten an attorney. Sounds like he's very jealous and always degrading his wife calling her dumb and that she shouldn't get a promotion. Everyone needs to understand this is a family owned business. Per his information in the beginning, there were not more than 20 employees when they started. Meaning the owner makes the rules. You don't like it, you leave. You have no right to know what the boss is doing. You have no right to demand work information from your spouse. And yes, it sounds like the boss let him go in a very reasonable way. It's a small business, so she will be supervising over her husband. He even offered 3 paychecks. He's always degrading her and accusing her of cheating.
