Yes, I been in your shoe once before, I did everything for him for 21.5 yrs and no he will not change for me into our 21.5 years of marriage he won't do anything to make life better for us so I can't tolerate his way any longer so I left him for good. I found someone who truly loves, cares, and respect me for who I am and we did everything for one another to make our life better and I won't look back at my old life.

Your advice to your son should have been, "Make sure you marry someone who loves you as much as you love them." Your advice was incomplete, you basically told him to do what you did in your first marriage---you married the one that you loved, but forgot to evaluate if she loved you back, and that's the reason why your marriage was the way it was.
