Taiwan's on another level, bro. You better have larger economy with the size of your population. An average person in taiwan makes 10 times of what a Vietnamese person makes.

Vietnam is a contract manufacturing country. The part that Vietnam can get is that Vietnamese people have jobs to earn less from exports because The government's policy to collect taxes from companies that invest lower than other countries to attract investment. Taiwan is a country that produces and exports products within the country.

its all beautiful and vibrant but have you noticed how many scooters on the sidewalk leaving no space for people to stop to do anything, plus weelchair people most prolly dont have acess.. hehe I just compared that to my Country which is Brazil and thse guys would be all fined. hahah
@MinhNguyen-ff6xf3 жыл бұрын
They should be fined but you definitely know about bribery and corruption. They bribed the city authority to do business
@jakehh89493 жыл бұрын
Scooters and all the businesses on the pavement are kind of a Vietnam thing, they are everywhere in every town and city in the country, when you see scooters and businesses on the pavement, then it's a pretty good chance you are in Vietnam. I'm not saying that those bikes and businesses are a good thing but they are simply too common and have been there for too long that most people have learnt to live with them for like, forever. Also, i don't think there are laws against this, not that i know of, i have never any vendor on the pavement got fined, the police where i live every couple of years do a sweep and confiscate goods of vegetables and fish vendors that are on the street, yes, on the street and not on the pavement because the market where i reside doesn't have pavement, but they haven't done another sweep for years now. And also vendors are not allowed on the pavement around restricted areas such as Police Headquarters and Town Hall, yet vendors in my town still operate on the pavement around the latter and no one ever touched them, lol. However, I really hope they do impose restrictions on those vendors and scooters, not eliminating them completely but make sure there is enough space for pedestrians.

Not going to say that the Vietnamese are tall people like with the Dutch and other northern Europeans or the Chinese in northern China like in Shandong, but they look taller on average then what I read from Wikipedia, which says 168 cm or 5'6" for men and 156 cm or 5'1.5" for women. Maybe for overall when the senior citizen aged population is included that this average is accurate but not for the younger generation because here in the USA I am a 5'7" 170 cm European American man and most young adult Vietnamese American men are taller then myself and really don't look any shorter on average then European American men which is 5"9" 175 cm. Young adult Vietnamese American women also look taller then 5'1.5" or 156 cm and look closer to 162.5 cm or 5'4" for average height. I don't think of Vietnamese young adult people of being that short anymore because Vietnamese Americans with their young adult population are pretty much equal to us European Americans and so do these young adult Vietnamese in Vietnam from looking in this video.

Just in the center of Saigon city, you will see the streets like this and if you go to another district it will not look like this. This place is my mom's family used to live so is kind the crazy and noisy but just only Saigon has this atmosphere. And if Viet.Cong not come to the Southern and take everything we’ll be a poor country :) sad Also, I have reminded you guys. Our Vietnam flag is not this one 🇻🇳. Our flag is “yellow and has three red lines” that was OUR FLAG. If some Vietnamese in here argue that topic then ~ why you guys don’t go to ask your parents and grandparents about the flag yellow has three red lines. It is Our Vietnamese flag?
