I always suggest food tour to tourists whom visit Vietnam because many foreigners don't know how to eat the food properly (Vietnamese is a bit more interactive than most other cuisines and it also comes with a lot of sauces that you either dip or douse your food in...there's a lot of customization involved as well). Looks like a great time was had by all. Not sure if you guys are heading to the Central Region, but check out Hoi An and Da Lat. Hue is where a ton of the great food came from such as banh xeo, bun bo Hue, etc. Head further north if you're looking for amazing and majestic landscapes. Phong Nha is great for caving (for people of all levels from a brief cave tour to a one day tour to a multi-day tour like "Adventures of A+K" did). Ninh Binh is a favorite for many people when they are near Hanoi. If you're really adventurous, do the Ha Giang Loop as many people have said that's their favorite and most memorable thing they did in Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is good, but do the 2 or 3 night luxury cruises. Make sure to do a food tour or 2 while in Hanoi since they guides there are great.

I think you guys done it backwards. For us, we normally do the food tour on the very first day so the rest of the trip, we would have half of an idea what to order. But that just us. There are a lot of information we would learn on the first day. Like for instant, we learn Hoi An is the city of custom tailor shops. So, immediately, we get our custom orders out of the way. I really love your chiropractor tip. Gonna have to do that when I am there.❤❤❤
