Design Inspiration: Canada's Yukon Territory - Worked their as a canoeing & sailing instructor in my youth. Fascinated by the land, people and the narrow gauge White Pass & Yukon RR
Era: 1975-76
Premise/Invention: Oil discovered in the arctic only allowed by pipeline to Hootalinqua due to environmental issues. Canadian Pacific and British Columbia Rail won the contract to build a railway line to service the oil terminal. Copper mines, lumber, machinery and goods are also transported. Trains come from the South and leave the same way with local serving the industries.

Construction: 1x3” frame, 2x2” legs, 1x4” risers supporting 1/2” plywood
Track: Peco & some Atlas Code 83 for main, most sidings and staging. Peco and old Shinohara Code 70 some sidings, yards and industrial spurs.
