I will agree with you that Teck definitely showed he was the more funky and original popper. BUT imo, I feel that Hoan showed a better grasp of popping. He was changing his feel, taking up more room on the floor, and his movements were definitely more complex and bigger. Not to mention Teck kind of stumbled in his first round he even repeated a move.

Everyone here has their own opinions on each dancer. But more importantly, they don't matter much to them anyway. I support any kind of dancer who has the passion in their heart to even accept loses or support other dancers. But everyone here..I bet you don't know much about Green and Hoan as much as they are in REAL life and that your arguments and sided opinions mean absolute nothing to them. Fanboy wars just repeat all over again as long as the opinions stay one sided. I however have respect for both and I dont waste time complaining that this other person exists. If you wanna prove that you're better than a certain experienced dancer, try battling them yourself, that's called "beef", I dont have any "beef" against anybody. ;)

No, dancing is still dancing. If you know poppin, breaking, krump. ANYTHING, 2on2 is as big of a part of it as 1on1. Hoan is a really great popper, so is green. Theres noone whos better then eachother. They just have bad days and good days. Whatever is said here. Hoan was the true champ of this BBOY World championships.

When your the only popper around, it's a barren wasteland of unimaginiative Funk Styles limbo. So please show a little more respect, and be thankful that you can bare witness to 2 legends; it's this level of dedication that keeps popping alive, if we can come together we can elevate our group conscious, maybe someday will be as household as jazz, ballet, or even hip hop. Maybe if popping had been more about family than you versus the world; we would give those great dance that ray of hope alive, because life is the most brutal dance, and when you lose your love for Dance, you lose yourself. Maybe if the community had been openly embracing we would still have some of the greats. Every time we lose an exceptional dancer we lose an entire art form. When we lost skeeter Rabbit (RIP) we lost an entire era of Funkstyles, with the artist is the art. Pop'n'taco stopped dancing cobra became a transitional move, instead of a style. Bop'n'Andre hung up the towel for quite awhile, and it was as if Boppin never happened. We are all in this together, lets see how far we can push the envelope, because we are only holding an already horribly inaccessible and very "hard" learn, even harder to learn correctly, art form. We are redefining dance, pushing limits of the human body and the way we were meant to move; ain't no riches to be had in our world, not much fame, not even recognized by most - we are the loaners of dance. Despite all that, we eat, shit and breathe this funk, we are driven by the love and desire to dance better than we did yesterday. Time to start showing it or all that gonna be left is turfing and finger tut choreography (couldn't resist).

@@djdj-ik2vk salah was better in a couple of years I would say from 2014 to 2017, but then it became repetitive with his movement that became boring and nowadays I no longer see it within the top 5 of today, for me the best of all the time and today and the poper more respecting for all is slim boogie, I even think he is the only poper that greenteck has respect for him because he knows what is on him.

This battle kind of symbolizes what popping has turned too. Musicality, no burn moved no big moves. Green teck was far cleaner and though I like both dancers, neither are my favorite. Hoan sometimes tries to hard to keep his musicality which takes away from actual Popping. You know the basic moves waves, ticks et cetera. This is a challenge for peeps who prefer to go boogaloo style. But, this is what popping has turned to. Wish there were more actual popping than boogaloo not a fan. Appears to me that Europe has one style and the USA has another and it really depends on who is judging on whether your style is is going to win. But I think Green took this one.

I know the history, I am still not a fan of boogaloo style I think Hoan looks sloppy and unclean, I think Greentek took this one, I was a popper in the 80s, I lived in the history. Hoan is nothing and I am mean nothing like it was in the day. I don't see none of the basic elements other than a boogaloo style. Not one real wave, or tick or even a robot. I see quick and sloppy moves. Sorry. Didn't mean to offend just saying.

imo Hoan plays around with music a lot shows that he's enjoying dancing and his technique require perfect body control :) it was the right call from the judges as dance scene is and will always revolving you can't just stick with the old schools all the time

Green's steps are much cleaner and the audience grooves with him since he doesn't miss even a single beat and has a very smooth Floor movement while Hoan Dance was just Tap movement simliar to Franquey and Nelson , I Guess Judging has nowadays changed a Lot and Points are not given on the core concepts of Popping.Greenteck is far more better than Salah as his movements are very much confusing , so no comparison between these two.

To me tie breaker was the right decision! First round was for greenteck and 2nd for Hoan but i can understand the decision of the judges. Hoan seemed to wanted more then greenteck. Thats my opinion

I think a lot of ppl really failed to see how greenteck was venturing into a more dancer environment with the same popping magic just more into the music and not trying to hit everything or appease the audience bc it is about evolving and creativity, not just more and more beat kills. Gets kind of boring and predictable. God bless and hoan is a beast but greenteck has the formula for GOAT

they are not acceptable excuses for losing a battle however all poppers have days where they are unbeatable and days where they dont feel it. Also they change their style, for example i felt that guchon won a ton more battles about a year or 2 ago compared to now and if u compare the 2 his style is very different. but its the same as a band, dosnt matter which style you (us) prefer, they are gona experiment and hopefully come out of it a much stronger popper and lose the stuff that dont work

He does seem to win less as of late tho. Same can be said of Guchon, i saw a beastly battle between him and madoka and hes so clean but then i saw him in a 7 to smoke weeks apart and he was kinda dull and just not his top form/style
