Great battle between two experienced vets. Poppin C took up more space, traveled the floor, hit ground moves and low levels, mixed more styles and Popped hard through his whole rounds. His groove and dancing was on point. Hoan was great as well…but those grooves Hoan be doing look really awkward to be honest, he’s super clean but seems to wait for the beat kills instead of just letting go. Poppin C pulled the well deserved win he was super clean too. It’s easier to look “clean” when you stand in one spot the entire time. Taking chances like traveling, spins, turns, balancing on one leg with Pop and a Dimestop. Those are high level difficulty to execute! Try it! 🤣 Like I said both are great, Poppin C just showed more this day. I’m sure the next day Hoan could win. Anyone could win any day when you’re on this level.

You are the only dancer that speaks on their own videos and others because you are so humble lol. Umm if you love popping you wouldn't want it to disappear, which it is slowly and certainly. You are stuck in 80s popping. Much respect to the old school fellas but Acky and Slim among others even says the style has to evolve or like other styles it will disappear. Hoan is evolving the style and has been for 2 or 3 years since his military duty. C still looks exactly the same as he did in 2015 so no evolution and no excuses, he has been training with MT Pop, another man evolving the style with animation rather than bone breaking pops. Face it man, popping hard on the 1s and 2s and 2s and 4s is boring and outdated. I respected you back in the day but now you just seem bitter everyone isn't like you stuck in 1982. Fikshun showed you evolution and you showed him 80s popping. You got killed man. I hate Fikshun but it is proof of my point. Evolution is ANY style keeps it alive. Stuck in 80s rules it will go away because people are not attracted to stagnant anything. They enjoy progress. Look at D Soracki, EVOLUTION of everything. I hope you understand this is positive criticism. I don't call names, I don't harass, I am just a 46 year old choreographer not a fan boy of anyone, just being real with what I see and have seen for years. Hoan didn't pop on every little beat and C did, if that is how to win then how easy because it is very well known C watched videos of Hoan to learn those hard pops. He says it himself so really no disputing that. So Hoan could have easily done what C did but animation is a part of popping foundation which Hoan is mostly doing now. Slim has lost many battles for evolving popping with animation and other forms of hip hop yet he is by far most famous popper. Just more proof evolving the dance is how to keep it alive. Keeping any dance where it originated is death.

Hoan killed that 1st round imo but yes poppin c does hit harder but his moves were not as clean as hoans. Yes his waves and slow motion was clean but his dynamic moves were not as clean as hoan but hoan did use hard mobility in this battle so he should’ve won. Both reused moves in their rounds so that null. Poppin c used a lot of same concepts just in different order or different direction but man the guy hits hard and does have some slick moves

호안은 점점 춤에서 여유가 느껴져서 오히려 그게 멋있는 것 같음. 예전에는 하드한 팝과 비트킬링 때문에 좋아했는데 이제는 춤에서 멋이 느껴서 다른느낌으로 좋아짐. 근대 이걸 플러스 요소로 받아들이는 사람도 있지만 오히려 못해졌다고 느끼는사람도 있는듯. 나는 코로나 이후 호안 춤이 더 좋음.

It was a very good battle and I saw the rounds even, I think Popin C could have taken it due to details, for me I use movements where I risk more like playing on 1 feet either sideways or turning, and there it was more safe in their movements, because the other items of musicality, creativity, cleanliness were even.

Hoan for the win. His musicality is outta this world. I have seen Poppin C, needs lessons from Hoan. Hoan keeps it fresh and dances what the music gives him.

Hoan literally lost. He appeals to a more causal audience (this isnt bad) there are gaps in his style. He accents the weird unorthodox tones in songs really well but there is a lot less fluidity in his dance than Poppin C who is dancing the entire time but Hoan will wait around for a certain beat to hit. Hoan is great but he is not consistent. This is why in most judged battles against high level poppers he loses. He will get better though and when he does he will be unstoppable.

난 아무리 생각해도 호안이 이긴 것 같은데. 호안의 팝은 노래에 알맞게 팝이 조절이 되고 한 곡 안에서도 사운드에 띠라서 팝의 질감이나 리듬, 강약조절이 있어서 보는 맛이 있음 근데 c의 무브는 노래의 분위기랑 맞지 않는 팝이 보여진다고 생각함 이외에도 c는 뻔한 박자와 뻔한 무브가 나오는 반면에 호안은 우리가 예상하지 못한 무브와 우리가 듣지 못하고 있었던 사운드를 이용해 재미를 줌 물론 둘 다 정상급 댄서긴 하지만😂😂 사람마다 보는 눈은 다르니까…

같은 팝핑스타일의 두 팝퍼가 붙었는데 솔직히 음악 표현이나 그루브나 뭘로보나 호안이 이겼다고 생각한다. 절대 팝핀C를 무시하거나 호안 카피댄서라고 생각하지 않지만 C는 조금 더 빡빡하지 않게 춤을 출 필요가 있다고 생각됩니다. 모든 요소를 맞추고 강약조절이 텐션이 되어있는 상태에서만 진행하다보니 다소 딱딱하고 부드러워 보이지도 못하고 솔직히 Hoan, Kite, Greenteck 이 세명의 팝퍼는 다른 팝퍼들보다 한차원 위의 선수들이라고 생각합니다. 고로, 이번 경기는 호안의 승리입니다.

과거 호진을 개밥취급했던 대만의 허접 팝퍼 스노우에 개인적으로 저지하기엔 커리어가 없다시피한 팝팝조가 앉아있어서 불안했지만 호안이 당연히 이겼네 하고 생각했음 근데 결과를 보니 팝핀C가 이겼네? 이건 합당한 판정인가 하고 어이없어서 영상을 계속 돌려봄 속도조절로 0.5 배수 0.75 배수로도 보고 세밀하게 봄 그리고 계속 반복해서 보다보니 냉정히 팝핀 C 가 정말 잘했다는 생각이 들기 시작함 0.75 배수로 봤을때 확실히 팝핀C 무브가 자연스럽고 세밀하고 부드러우며 너무 깔끔함, 팝도 쎄고 강약 조절도 내공이 상당함 호안도 호안이지만 팝핀C 짬밥도 무시못할듯 호안이 스타일 변화하는 과정이라 적응되면 조만간 좋은 결과를 만들어낼거라고 생각함

I like both dancers. Both are 2 of my favorites to watch. I just thought this was bad judging. The problem with popping. Same reason Slim Boogie loses, Slim and Hoan play with beats while old school poppers refuse to evolve. C was really nice hitting those 2s and 4s haha. Hoan's musicality is insane. Both dancers are great but anyone with eyes, not a fanboy, being totally objective sees what this professional choreographer of 30 years sees... Hoan smoked C in this battle 2-1. I've see Poppin C beat Hoan fairly too. But this was terrible judging. I see bad judging in popping over any other hip hop style. POPPING HAS TO EVOLVE or it will go extinct.

My favourite clips of hoan are where he’s teaching a workshop and he’s demonstrating the pop. He always feels like he’s so inside the music in that environment. Even though he can battle there is no denying that I’ve always like him when he’s more composed. I also agree that the grooves he’s doing at times look slightly akward maybe unnatural. When he’s popping he has a nice groove. I agree poppin c took the win but like jrock said on a different day couloir very well have been Hoans day they are both incredible dancers well done too both

솔직히 걍 이 정도 클라스는 취향차이인 거 같다 난 국뽕인지는 몰라도 호안이 더 스타일리쉬하고 지겹지가 않고 좋음 뭔가 정석적이지 않은 무빙들이 보는 즐거움이 더 있음
