I happened upon a very powerful 36" long magnet bar previously used by tobacco processing plants to pick metal out of rough cut tobacco while it was moving on a fast conveyor belt into fine cut stations and put a couple of lawnmower wheels on the ends and a long handle in the middle and boy; has that thing ever proved useful over the years. All those nails/screws/sharps would be gone in one pass.

Looks like the ole grapple brings in as much as it takes out 🙂 Reminds me of a area trash transfer station. People back in over the wood dump below and big machines load up semi's to haul off. The local land fill was full and we turned it into a nice natural gas 24/7 heat source for the high school Olympic pool that people could use on the weekends.

I'm borrowing a friend's gooseneck dump trailer and I use a magnet on a curtain rod as my marker. I like your idea too. Use whatever makes hitching up easier on yourself. Being new to pulling a gooseneck trailer, I'm green trying to get backed in places to dump. I have been pulling bumper trailers all my towing career.

I feel tired just looking at this stuff! One can sort item by item or haul it all off in a heap. reminds me of my sister! when she died, I went to Johnson City, Tennessee to look at her storage area in a storage site. The maybe 550 *boxes*, and furniture ended up in a warehouse where I chose to look through *each* item one by one. She was not a hoarder though. my mother's parent's estate was not done when her mother died and after the auction, the little stuff was brought to my sister's house by truck. Then her personal stuff. I had a clothing sale also. A dealer bought everything for five cents per item. the dealer wrote out a check for $63.00! Took me working three to five hours five to seven days a week for nearly four months to get ready for the auction. whew. I feel for you! I will stay tuned for video parts three to ten!

I think he did good, it was running just on either rather than diesel, also he was kind of in a pinch with only 2 hands he needed 1 or 2 more lol. I'd call it a draw. He needed help but for the most part it he had it running on his own. Had the fuel pump been working you would've heard that Ole bulldog a barking. Great video!
