Absolutely, I have the upgraded steering knuckles on both my MT Plus2 and my MTX, waited and installed them on the MT Plus2 after my first plastic one broke, no issues since and they went on day one on the MTX.... Definitely don't think you need that second chassis brace, I probably won't add even the one... This 7075 c chassis is a Tank, can see it ever bending especially with all the plastic extremedes protecting it from impact, bumpers, arms, etc. And would rather keep the rig as light as possible.... My 2 Cents. HoBao is one of the most underrated RC companies FOR SURE👍 Great vid as always brother See ya round

Good call on installing the knuckles support bro. I've broken one on my HMTP2. I also have them on my MTX now as well. The chassis support plates are a good addition but much needed on the HMTP2 being 6061 chassis. Great vid Jason.

Hey Jason just a FYI on the shock shaft problem they are having. The problem comes from the new 3 hole pistons hobao have on the mtx and also the plus 2 now. The original plus 2 came with 6 hole pistons. When I got my plus 2 it came with the new 3 hole pistons and I was bending mutipal shafts every time I took it out. Did some research to find the new part in the shock. I went and drilled out the pistons back to the 6 hole configuration. Since then, there have been no issues for about a year now.

Yeah I was bummed when I went to put the Mud Slingers on the MT+2 and they didn't work with the upgraded arms. Different rims would fix this issue. But still, bummed!

I use two chassis plate, but i don't know if there is a good direction for this plate. Can be mounted with the "Hoabo" face the front or face the rear of the car. The shape of the plate is not symmetrical
