That 150amp esc is a option norm comes with the 100amp. I got the 150esc sent from Hobao. This rc is tuff as nails had mine since its first release. But the tires no good on 6s. Just use the grp tires. I switched out bodies. Stock loves to catch wind and go air born..Proved that for poop's n grins in one of my vids. Yet you can slap all the way up to a 30T traxxas X)-1 pinion gear in this with either a simple mod of motor mount of if feeling lucky run with one bolt on the slide. Great Rc good review!

Yep, it sure did

Nice one Rich. Great car, but you'll need to lower the chassis and raise the body. Bin the tyres and the crappy Deans plugs then you're good to go. Well, tyres will hold on 4S, but you'll destroy them on 6S, they are too soft. Oh, and you'll need some thicker oil in the centre diff. Good to see you with something different and I look forward to seeing your videos on this one. Cheers.

+Aussie RC Playground hey Vas - yeah, I noticed the body height in the first run......and I delete Deans now for XT90's. Hope you're doing well! 😃

on towerhobbies they have the hyper vte which goes for 489.99 and then they have the hyper vt for $739.99. what are the differences between the two? I am looking to purchase a 1/8th onroad. thanks!
@thatsmyrc7 жыл бұрын
I think its only the 100amp esc for 4s and then the 150amp esc for 6s. I can't figure that out either on pricing differance? When it first hit the market I pre ordered one that stated it was 4s/6s capable. Yet it was only 4s with the 100amp esc. After contacting Hobao its was worked out, Great customer service :-) Vas on Aussie Rc mentioned that also in his first run video.
@TheRCNetwork7 жыл бұрын
Yes, the $739 version has the 150amp esc, is 4s/6s capable and has quite a few other uprgades like the better quality aluminum on all the bits like the top plate, shocks, etc
@abdullahquan76634 жыл бұрын
Hi RC Network, could you please do a video how to raise the chassis height so it's not too low to the ground. Thanks
@TheRCNetwork4 жыл бұрын
Not really a video worthy thing.....simply twisting the shock collars - toward the top of the shocks - this will either tension the springs raising the chassis up or loosen the springs lowering the chassis
@abdullahquan76634 жыл бұрын
@@TheRCNetwork I thought there were also some chassis screws which we could also manipulate to do this but I could be wrong. Thanks anyway

Cool can't wait..I feel you on the gps. I have one that doesnt work so well or half the time but now I got a garmin. I need to get back out and let it rip. This is a solid tuff Rc from Hobao.

Water proof reciever case? NO! Splash proof? Maybe, depends from the conditions you drive and the whether. And i am sure because i have Hyper SS Truggy witch use the same reciever box like this one. I wish it was water proof. But it isn't!
@TheRCNetwork7 жыл бұрын
Теодор Хлебаров first icon on the box is "waterproof". Living in a dry climate, I'm never too concerned with water/resistant/proof, etc. also, it's a pain to clean up a wet/muddy rig.

@7.30 batteries in PARALLEL NOT IN SERIES Nice video
@TheRCNetwork6 жыл бұрын
David Watkin sorry, but you’re mistaken. The ESC in this model comes with two battery leads to run two 3s Lipos in Series, which will power the vehicle on double the voltage not double the mah/runtime like a parallel connection.

Both the XO1 and the Hyper VT are not meant to look "scale" - they both have a futuristic look.
