I love this machine , it's like a welder from the 1970's got transported in forward in time to 2022 . Simple and gets the job done !

While in the army during the 1960's i used PTO driven welders in Dodgepower Wagons. I believe the welders were Hobart. Not digital.

I'm the same way as it's a simple machine that fires up every time and welds great !

Skip to 5:45, that’s where welder review begins.

Maybe some of us aren’t impatient children and are fine with watching the rest of the video.👍🏼

Does the machine stay out in the weather ? Any issues with it out in the open ?

That's a great question . If the truck is on a job and it starts raining than the welder is in the weather like happened last week . They are built for that . Whats more important is the truck gets parked in the shed when not in use . The weather / sun play hell on vehicles that sit out 100% of the time . One other thing we did was tuck the welder behind the cab instead of mounting it on top of the bedside . I think this helps keep road " salt spray " out of the machine during the wintertime . They also make some nice molded tarp covers for these machines .
