I've been debating about whether to do a continue trip to New Zealand or just hire a car and do it myself. Having read reviews about contiki, I need to know, is it really party orientated? I mean, I like a drink but not very night constantly. And is it rushed? I know that there will be travel days but I don't wanna be on a coach all the time. Any response would be brilliant

I'm surprised you just called it Jade and not the common New Zealand name for it or the Maori name. In New Zealand we normally just call it Green Stone and the Maori name is Pounamu.
