for putting a traxxas lipo on storage mode, what A level do you set it at. Is 4A okay?

You can put that number anywhere you like. The charger has a limited amount of discharge current and will likely reduce it to a level it can handle. So don't be surprised if the number automatically changes after you start the storage charge.

@@Hobby365 so Let’s say I balance charged . Then used my fav for about 30 minutes. Do I just put it in storage mode? Or do I have to balance charge first then put them in storage mode?

how do you use storage mode do you hit start and plug into the wall or just plug the battery into the charger not pluged into wall it does not say in instructions that came with charger

Press hand hold the start/stop and charge rate select buttons simultaneously to place the charger in manual. Then you can select storage mode.

How do you know that the battery is ready for storage after connecting the battery to the charger?

@@jorgevaldez6476 if you are asking about how does the charger alert you that it is completed storage charge then the green light at the top of the string will be lit. If you are asking about how to know when you need to put your battery in storage mode. I would recommend if you haven't used your battery in 7 days.
