I went to HL at 11:30 today and it was CRAZY here, too! I had a 12:30 appointment so I only grabbed 15 of the dog keychains (from the Grinch) that were 99 cents. I stood in line for an hour but was happy to get the keychains!

Oh dear… an hour? Oh it takes so much patience at these big sales! I wanted the keychains but I couldn’t find them or somebody grabbed the whole box before I saw them and I was pretty close to the front of the line!!! Glad it was worth the trip for you! Hope you made your appointment!😂

@@drogers My appointment was with my hairdresser and she was very understanding that I was about 10 minutes late. I’ve never been to HL on thei 1st day of 90 percent off but I’m definitely going to give myself more time next year!

I love watching your hauls and hearing your ideas for filler. For the garlands you bought, could you use the pom poms by hot gluing them to pen tops to make fancy pens? Or add them to craft kits?

Great idea… however they are a little bunched up on the bottom after I separated them from the garland. I may give it a try though! Thank you! 😊

@@drogers just thought of another idea. You could add string or ribbon to a zipper pouch and put the pom poms on the end by using a needle to thread it onto the string to make a large pull. Or make a key chain out of it. Add it to a bookbag zipper pull.

Gosh, it was the busiest EVER today, and they had MUCH more product left than any other year I have experienced. Like you said, people were charging into the store and dumping stuff into even two or three carts. It took a lot of discipline not to go too crazy. I learned last year that Valentine's was my best haul where I found SO MANY things for the boxes, so I need to save some cash for that. :)

Yes, it was hard not to get caught up in it but Valentines is usually better at all the stores for me. My two stores did not have a ton for shoeboxes but I do love what I found! People were nuts!!!!

Mine was absolutely crazy, too! 😂 I thought it opened at 10am, so I was actually an hour late. But since I was looking for toys, there was still some of that. 😅 I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one in the long lines ❤ I got a lot of those wooden ball catchers for my older girls packing party. 🎉

lol, I heard it was choatic at Hobby Lobbys today. The wooden toys are my favorite. The bows are great. I love that you got the Snowman garland to seperate as stuffies. The Nutcracker one is beautiful. Oh, love those Christmas bracelets! Very nice fabric. The athletic sport ornaments are so cute. Great haul, Denise! You did great!

Hi Denise. I went to HL today (Saturday) and Christmas is pretty much gone. But, I did check the clearance in the back and found 16 plastic OCC boxes marked down to a dollar!!! I was thrilled! Check stores for extra boxes.

I went to Hobby Lobby today , there were lots of people. I bought all of the nutcracker sports ornaments. I'll use one or2 in boxes and the rest in sports filler packs. They were filling up the shelves for Valentines.

Hobby Lobby sticker prices are high but they rarely sell items for full price. Not sure about Valentine’s Day but Spring shop is already 40% off. Love the cardstock! So happy to hear you are making the pouches 😊. I went to HL this morning too. My store was busy too. Lots of people buying up items to create crafty things - like perhaps for craft shows - wreaths, buckets, artificial poinsettias, garlands, ornaments. I always enjoy shopping at HL. Unique things. Fun things. I struggled a bit because Matt and I had both been sick with stomach flu since Monday night. He feels better, but of course I still have some lingering symptoms. I knew there would be nothing left tomorrow, though. So I put on a mask and gloves and away I went. Thankfully, my HL is only 5 minutes away.

I am so envious. No Hobby Lobby in Canada. And, stores here do not have 90% off sales. Best percentage off here is 50 or 60%. I was happy to buy stickers at 40% off at a Dollar store that is closing.

You did get some great items. I went to our HL today thinking it was 70% off. I was there just after it opened - but no crowds outside. We had only $11.99/yard fabric so it was $1.19/yard but still a great, great deal. I found some wooden nativity things and a foam nativity kids craft set. Also, no one was interested in them. I had seem them on another YTber's channel - they were 40 cents each. I also picked up a bunch of ribbon - which is the reason I went today. :) The crowds were insane...and people were all over, just grabbing, as you said. Checkout at ours was much worse than yours, as our lines were 8-10 people deep at 10:30 am.

Yes it was crazy! The lines at my first store were worse than the video I shared from the second store. Honestly, it was so crazy. I kept forgetting to take any video and I felt like I had to stay on my toes in order to get stuff!😂 Yes, $1.19 a yard is still an amazing deal!!! I probably should have gotten more but the selection was limited.I never saw wooden nativity sets. At least you were able to pick up some goodies. It was an interesting experience for me!😂

Love it!!! do you re-package the puzzles? The boxes look too big to fit in a shoe box. I'm hoping to get some pretty dominoes there. But not sure when to look for them, maybe after Valentines....? I saw them on an every box matters video and fell in love with them. It was a really awesome box. It had so many neat things. My other favorite from that box was a Target Be Still adult coloring book

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and just left. It was too crazy and chaotic for me. Every register had lines all the way to the back of the store and curving around with carts overflowing with items. I may see if anything is left today, but I don't expect anything to be left.

I could've gone, I was off yesterday! I can go after wok tomorrow, see if there's anything left. I've never been to Hobby Lobby it's a little out of the way but not far. I would feel pretty pressured in that crowd but it would be a good challenge too.

I found out while driving to Walmart because I thought Walmart was going to 90% off, based on what a manager told me! I follow clearance shoppers on Instagram and they post if they know a store will drop! And that’s how I found out! Then I posted it on my Instagram account to let people know. Hope you found something fun if you decided to go!
