Thanks for this video. I was given one of these paper pads and wasn’t sure on how to best use it. Thanks for the encouragement of sharing our cards. At Christmas, I took about 50 cards to my Bible study group. Everyone at first was hesitant to take more than one. A couple of weeks ago, I took a bunch of general occasions cards, no one was hesitant this time! I could see all the flaws but they just saw beautiful handmade cards. I even received a request for graduation cards. I am so amazed. .

I also don’t shop at HL, but I have so many 4.5x6.5 pads that I never know what to do with!! I’m so glad you’re going to be doing this size. Thanks for sharing this tutorial and your words of encouragement! Hobby Lobby is my go to store for craft supplies. I really like their cardstock and their color packs convo. They also have heavy and extra heavy cardstock that I can't find at the local Michaels.

I really enjoyed your video! I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me so I don't shop there either. I have ordered a few of this sized paper pads from them in their Christmas designs. They are vintage looking so I liked them but never used them. Now I can get started! I wish I had a craft store thrift shop near me! I have never heard of such a place! What a great idea! I am very happy to see you have templates for 4.5x6.5 paper pads. I have had 2 of these DCWV paper pads for many years, One is called "Nana's Kids" and the other "The Glitter Sweet Matstock". The Glitter pad is mostly horizontal prints. I am hoping to use your templates to make some cards with these papers.

I bought a paper pad once at hobby lobby, the paper was thinner than I thought. I cut some paper from it for my grandson to use as origami. Maybe I should take another look at this pad.

The paper is quite thin but I think the cardstock mats help as you add layers.
