I believe there is an element of ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) while opening packs. The sound and feeling of tearing them apart. The great hope and expectation of riches for the deprived inner-city child, that excites me so much watching these videos. Really, im my perspective...an interesting and deep topic. Before you opened the last Chronicles pack, I was gonna say retail won easily, but I’m not so sure now. It was definitely a close battle, but you got multiple numbered rookies from hobby, including some other very nice cards as well. It’s too close to call!

I've just gotten into collecting as a beginner. Can someone please explain why you sort the cards you pull into separate piles, and how you can tell the value of a card. I also do not know where to buy these basketball cards. They seem to be sold out everywhere. Someone please help 😣

I just put notable cards up top, and semi-notable cards in the middle stack. To see what a card is worth, go to eBay, search for the card, and click "Sold Items." To buy retail cards, just go to Target or Walmart (or some Barnes & Nobles) or any of their websites.

Just rambling about other comments... The wax, that sticks...and ruins your Jordans... Maybe perhaps we can contact the companies...and ask them of the specific temperature to raise in order to relieve , restore and cool down that tension. Obviously, it needs to be a precise measurement...yet I think perhaps possible... Cards and Science. Upgraded. Woooooaaaaa!!!!!!!!

I think hobby took took the cake this time around, but I need to grab a Pippen acetate for my illusions collection. I just ripped some recon and it went about as meh as the pack you opened. Hopefully you can chase some Terry once hoops retail comes out soon 🤞

Card collecting is a hobby, so it's all about collecting what you like. I rip a ton of different stuff, so I'd recommend watching some of my videos, and see if anything looks cool to you. You'll also have to decide if you have more fun opening up packs or just picking up cards of your favorite players.
