I agree with you Michael...unbelievable! I have a couple of STOL planes and the flight envelope you’ve demonstrated with the Tundra far exceeds anything I’ve seen. Great job as always!

I have no doubt that the grand tundra is a great plane. I have a durafly tundra myself. Micheal however is a superb pilot. He is to 3D what Bob Ross was to painting. He can probably do knife edges with a broom. Everything he does with a plane looks easy. Keep on practising folks.

Light weight, lots of power, and big control surfaces. All there is to it! I'd love to see some high-wing 3D and aerobatic planes (though, for aerodynamic reasons, I understand why it's not as popular as mid-wing mounting).

I have personally done all of these acrobatic manuevers, no big deal...except for the landing without crashing part.

Great video Michael! No lack of power on that beast. What batteries are you running? I'll be ordering my GT today.

I recently crashed my smaller Tundra V2 and was offered a chance to buy one of these larger size models.......can anyone tell me if the larger version flys { the same }... { easier }....{ harder }...thanks

I don't have either of them (yet), but in general the larger a plane is, the easier it is to fly (same type of plane of course). More stable in windy conditions, better visibility, due to the higher weight it is also feels a bit smoother on all sticks. On the downside you basically just have more space for storage and to transport it, price level of the plane itself is usually higher and you also need to think about the batteries you use (larger batteries cost more money and normally do require an adequate charger if you don't want to wait forever to get a charge). If that is all not an issue for you, go for the bigger one!

What is your set-up? I have a tundra, and would love to do that kind of flying with it.

@@MichaelWargo So you didn't set up a 3D rate that goes beyond what the manual's recommended throws in high rates were?
