I grabbed these for dnd, and I'm blown away with the effort. You can tell the sculptors enjoyed making this.

thanks for the review, i was literly searching for something like this to find info on how posable they were and how you can bloodbowl them up. great video, keep up the good work ;)

Miazghul Tharaka They could easily be Blood Bowled up with the two open hands and especially the one holding a rock, the rock is even kind of shaped like the ball.

I always thought these models looked cool but didn't realize this kit had such variety. Awesome video now I want some too!

Thank you for the video. I had been looking a review of this kit as I wondered how many options are in there. Thank you.

Bearded Muppet Photography There are certainly a ton of options. Its a great kit, so great you really need to buy it twice.

This kit is so good I bought these and the bigger Dankhold troll to play as close combat dreadnoughts for my 40k Space Wolves.

Skywatcher Adept That’s a rocking idea, no pun intended... or was it?

@@OldManTim I combined these trolls with trolls and viking clans from the Blood Rage game www.kickstarter.com/projects/cmon/blood-rage I field them as Fenrisian tribesman (using Catachan rules) with Fenrisian Trolls (SW Dreadnoughts). Rockin' time indeed.

They eat anything and everything! Warhammer trolls are always hungry. They eat whatever is at hand. Rocks, goblins, people, cows, goats, etc etc. Great video.

DesolateDolly that is true. Sometimes it helps not to overthink it.

I did the maths I think correctly. 3 legs x (4 arms x 4 arms + (2 double arms x 2 rocks)) x (3 necks x 2 Necklaces each) x 8 heads = 2880 possible combinations for the first figure. The second and third figures will have a lesser number available as you just used a set so I guess its something like 6600 possibilities for all three. Quite an army!

This is not the first troggoth kit review video I’ve watched that commented on the lack of “bits” (ie genitalia) on these models. From a lore standpoint, I believe they’re basically sentient fungal beasts, which I would assume means they reproduce asexually, so... NO “BITS”... ;)
@rootsnootthnute85985 жыл бұрын
Looks like, if you have the skill with green stuff and maybe some trollish legs, you could make another 3 with this kit. I might do that if I buy it, but I'm rapidly starting to have too many trolls to reasonably field.

Jambo Winniefell I may have to do that. Working on converting up a Great Unclean One to a TROGGOTH hag. Might do a video on that.

The options are decent, the aesthetic direction GW went to is a far cry from the old ones
@MrStatistx3 жыл бұрын
With that many options they could have just put more legs and necks in ... Still a great kit
