Got the combo last year, payed about the same. Put it in my 3.3 revo electric conversion, crazy fast on 4s 5000 at 50c. Hard for me to keep stock plastic gears in trans, have to de tune esc. I’m going to put steel gears soon so I will not have trans issues, then I’m sure it will break something else but that’s the fun of it. Great video and I’m sure it helped people decide to pick up a combo set. It definitely kick butt for the price 👍

Thanks for watching 👍 Yeah, this combo has plenty of power to move this puppy lol. I currently have her geared @ 34T/34T & she moves 😁. I have only gotten her to 65mph cuz I still haven't found a good road to let her rip @ 3/4 to full throttle. I'm also looking @ possibly going foam with the tires. I just been a tad busy with the Arrma Typhon 6S that I just picked up about a month ago, that thing is a beast lol Thanks for watching again, stay safe. 😎👍

I love this combo it’s just amazing I put it on my traxxas stampede and non stop wheelies, then I put it on my kraton exb and non stop backflips I love this combo and I got it cheap from asiatees.com for 150, but anyways great video and nice rustler build

Got an vintage traxxas rustler 2wd monster truck conversion with 2.8 tires I'm doing , interested to know will this be a good esc & motor combo for bashing/street running...no jumps or speed runs. what would be a good gear ratio for such ? Plan on running 2s or 3s battery options as well ? Thanks in advance !!

Hi, thanks for watching 👍 This combo would be more than enough if your bashing around & street riding. Gear ratio for bashing around, if you still have the original 48pitch gears & my memory serves me correctly, I was using the 83T spur and 28T pinion. But I have to really check, it's been sooo long since I have used 48T. I have been using M1 gears & doing high speed setups for soo long now. I can see what I put in my sons Bandit that I converted to a Rustler. On that one, I have a Castle Sidewinder ESC with a 3800kv Castle motor. I can't remember the gears I put in it, but even on 2S, that thing is pretty hardcore lol. On 3S, he blew one of the original traxxas tires lol. But he bashes hard with it & we haven't had heat issues yet.

I'm loving it, plenty of power. I'm running a mod1 setup w/ a 1:3 ratio (26/34) & the ESC is cool after 5 minutes of speed runs & the motor is barely warm & i don't have a heatsink on it.

Can the motor fit in the stock place for it?

@@chevyboi8392 do you mean the 2200kv motor into the stock gear box? It may fit, but you probably won't have much room for gearing.
