Like the build. Looking to setup steering for my newport nk on my Outback. Just wondering if there is amble clearance between the foot steering and peddle drive?.. or does it get a bit tight if u have wide feet or boots on.. also how do u like the low mount for the controller?, any issues with taking spray or splash having it low down like that on a choppy day. Thanks in advance

Is the 1103 a good choice over the 403 on the Outback?

The 1103 is the better choice for several reasons: top end speed, efficiency, quiet operation, immediate throttle response and durability.

Use a straightened crappie jig to finish pulling the spectra line through. Just barely bend the tip. It will grab and pull it right out.

That’s awesome resourcefulness! I’ve also heard of folks using an air compressor to blast it through.

@@TheLittleStuff I’ve been going through some of your videos trying to dial in my Torqeedo 1103 on my Feelfree Lure 13.5 and Moken 12.5. There has been a lot of trial and error.

Hello gentleman. I just bought and install the 403 on my outback today itself and on forward on maximun speed on test of course it shows E45 and of course it stops the motor in 3 second and I need to restart same. Any advise ?

Great video and very informative Jeff! What is your experience with speeds between the 2019+ Outback vs a PA 12?

PA 12 is around 6.1 mph. The Outback tops out around 6.5. So does the PA 14.
