I have same one but dark green. Love it. If you got ground to cover. You have one of the most efficient kayaks out there. Once you get your balace down. You're set. The secondary stabilization is quite sufficient.👍

That's the lake my father took me fishing about 35 years ago. Grew up on that lake basically. Trout bass bluegills etc. Great fun

B STAVE when turning dont slow your peddling like you did keep up that speed and you'll turn even faster. Those turbo props and turbo rudder are the first thing I added when I got my first hobie outback. Keep your speed when turning and its faster. Been kayaking on hobie for over 15 years

Bob. welcome to the kayak world - consider removing those peddle straps, i never kept mine on (on my PA14), you'll get used to finding your center after a few trips. Have fun! Wait til you try current!! I'd be happy to meet up as well anytime for some back bay 'yakin'.

I was out in AC all day today. Got a little dicey at the end of the day but I had a blast. I’d love to wet a line with you!

Awesome seeing videos close to home! Former GT and now Wash Twp resident. Don’t shake up those waters too much, that’s one of my bass fishing lakes - haha JK! Congrats on the new Yak. I’ll be taking mine out this week in AC.

Old Town definitely makes a great kayak. I have the 106 sportsman and recently just mounted a trolling motor to it this year. Can literally stand up on it when the water/wind is calm. Let me know- I’m always down! BTW- I expect some kayak and fishing videos coming soon by you. No pressure lol!

Good ol' Grenloch Lake. Being a big guy as you saw at Mario's Pizza, 34 inches wide is the narrowest boat for me. What are the stats on that rig?
@BStavFishingAndHunting Жыл бұрын
Yo brother!! I’m not sure if the stats but it’s skinny!

Nice vid. Have you gotten used to the tippiness? Do you find it stable enough for touring, fishing etc? And whats your weight, is there a limit to who should use this kayak?
@BStavFishingAndHunting10 ай бұрын
Yo Fishinbite!! Thanks! I actually sold this Hobie and bought a new Old Town Big Water. Far more stable. Much more room. I can literally stand up in it. No where near as fast as the Hobie Revo but what it misses in speed, it make up for it in stability, comfort and room.
