I use a Midori A6 notebook just like the one you bought as a journal and it is amazing! You won't regret using it. I love how the notebooks (Midori, grey and green) match the cover. It's a great colour combination.

@inessebastiao3887 I thought so too, I wound up putting both blank notebooks into the green cover. I have been tempted many times to use a midori as a main journal! It's my favorite paper. I just wish they'd come out with a hardcover 🥲

@BlushnBlue for now I put both the blank notebooks in it to use for ink swatching and to play with pens on two different papers. It holds 2 notebooks plus a pen perfectly!

That cover might hold two notebooks. I have an A6 cover with two Midori notebooks and I love it. One lined and one graph.

@@kimdburns this is what I decided to do! I put both the midori and the hobonichi blank notebooks in it for ink and pen swatching so I can have both papers in one place. It works out super nicely!

Does the journal bleed through?

@MommyWisePH all of these are super fountain pen friendly! If I swatch heavily with ink sometimes there's a little bleedthrough but for regular writing, it's very good.
