I’m so excited about my hobonichi order arriving! I really love watching & rewatching other people’s hobonichi unboxing videos. I thought it would also be fun for me to look back on this 2025 unboxing with my first direct hobonichi order!
I wanted to make a disclaimer about this video, about me splurging this year on the hobonichi online store. This is going to be my third year using hobonichi and I wanted to place my first order directly on the hobonichi website. I saved up money to do so and I did a lot of thinking about what I wanted and spend money on. I find myself always being influenced by other unboxings and I wanted to say that if you wanted to use hobonichi yourself you don’t need all of these products. Just for info: the instructor the Paddington A6 says : „Not for use with Cover on Cover This cover uses thicker materials than usual, so it may not fit. Forcing it into a Cover on Cover may damage the products.“

The reason the cover on cover looks weird on the Paddington cover is because the cover is thicker than normal covers. Hobonichi recommends against using a COC on Paddington covers.

Try expanding the cover on cover with a hair dryer
