I'm glad you started using fountain pens because it could only mean one thing: video content on fountain pens! 😄😄😄 Part of the fun using fountain pens is choosing ink and pen combinations, but if you ever miss the really dark blacks of your regular pens, I suggest Platinum Chou-Kuro and Faber Castell Carbon Black. Thank you! I did watch that video and ended up purchasing the Platinum Chou-Kuro but I didn't get it until November so it didn't show up in this video. I honestly still don't love it in my sailor pen, it still didn't seem as black as I wanted (and I was disappointed it won't highlight even after being advertised as waterproof) but I'm excited to try various pens + inks + combinations. I don't see myself becoming an expert, but I will share as I progress with this journey!

Totally agree with the book, The Light we cannot see. Book was awesome! Also love your monthly reviews. YOU make me want to journal! I have journals, pens, etc. I just haven’t made it a habit or a priority, I guess. I’ve totally slacked since my elbow surgery and that would have been the time I would have loved reflecting on! Oh well!
