The paper is different this year. They made that announcement around the launch of 2022 I believe. It is still Tomoe River, but slightly different. The other differences are standard for the ENG cousin vs JPN cousin. The A5 HONs are identical to the cousins, just the covers are different. Same for the A6 HONs and the A6 daily techo. They are identical, only difference being the covers. The download city is not new but they did add new downloads this launch. You can print off tip-ins for your techos. I was hoping the HON covers would be a bit more sturdy, but I am excited to get mine. 🥰 Also! They are selling HON clear covers this year!

I believe the back sections also differ from English and Japanese planners even if the same year. ☺ The info can be seen in the hobonichi website. Thank you for the comparison! I'm still contemplating if I need a HON or not 🤭

So I dove in hard and got the seahorse Hon and the A5 cousin for my work and life planners, respectively. I also got the A6 supplement for church ministry planning. Wish me luck 😅

Not really. They sell clear ones or you can barely squeeze it into the fabric hobo ones. The fabric cover is like a weeks cover, but bigger and has a bit of flex to it.
