Received JP50PRO last week from indiegogo and opened it up today. Beautiful unit. I reached out to ICECO regarding a rattle when the compressor kicks on, like a fan blade hitting the plastic vent. Probably loose component or not installed exactly right. Quite annoying but probably a simple fix. I live 30 minutes from ICECO HQ so hopefully we can get it resolved. Otherwise, it works well. Wheels and pull handle are great. Multi directional door is clever. When rattle is addressed, perfect device. 7/3 ICECO responded and instructed me to visit their office/warehouse for replacement after the holiday. Can't ask for more than that. Except for the loud rattle the JP50PRO works well and looks like a high quality product. Rattle issue should be resolved by end of week. Update: Swapped rattle unit for a fresh one at ICECO warehouse. Super courteous support. Cause was a thicker foam insert pushing fan into plastic vent grate. New unit is super quiet and performing well for over a week. Hobotech has the best information and Tom's work is appreciated. He seems to genuinely enjoy doing the reviews. Best wishes.

@johnnycash37552 жыл бұрын
Any detailed updates using with solar?
@4philipp2 жыл бұрын
@@johnnycash3755 well, temperature matters. I have been running it in freezer mode at -4°F. Ambient temperature is between 72° and 80°F. It’s loaded with 28 pint sized water bottles. Once it’s at temperature (internal) and all contents are frozen solid, it draws between 27 and 31 watts. At that rate, the included battery lasts about 6 hours. I have been running it off my EcoFlow Delta (1300) which have a effective usable capacity of 1000 watts - it’s 750 wh in 24h or 1000 wh in 32 hours which is the EcoFlows max. Soooo, reducing it to the included battery capacity, 6 hours of freezer time holds true. If you test this at 65°F you will get longer performance and if you test it at 90°, you will get less (I have tested neither) . The solar panel is or looks like really nice quality. I have not tested it. It’s 90 watts. If I assume average of 50% performance, aka 45 watt over 5 hours, then it will power the LionCooler for 5 hours and perhaps put 75 watt into the battery. However, between a charged battery and the solar panel I doubt I will get 12 hours in freezer mode with ambient temperatures around 80°F. If you use it in conjunction with a solar generator like my EcoFlow Delta (1300), and max that unit out with 400 watts of solar, then you can run the freezer indefinitely if you can collect at least 800 watts for charging on a daily basis. I have not tested the unit in fridge mode, because I only intent to use it as a freezer. I’m expecting the LionCooler Mini 28L from the most recent campaign soon. That unit I will be running as a fridge only.

About month later got replacement which worked fine while plugged in to AC, but on 12V didn't make it trough the one day (the same problem). Still having headache from dealing with horrible customer service because they wasn't in the rush to contact me back even they scheduled the call, exchanged more than 50 emails and after 3 months from my purchase I got refund. After that I found out other customers had similar problems and only good reviews for those fridges are from paid reviewers.

Your thermometer is not compatible to the iceco cooler. The factory uses a thermistor that’s calibrated to the control board. It’s seems the thermometer that you are using seems close to the temperature that’s displayed. Analog and digital thermostat are always out of calibration. As a refrigerant tech. You measure food product temperature to be true temperature. My recommendation try a Taylor Commericial digital panel mount thermometer. You can place the temperature probe any where inside the iceco with out opening the lid which when you open and close the lid you are basically introducing warm room temperature air inside which takes time to remove warm air inside the fridge. The less you open the lid the best you can get a close accurate temperature. Luv ur videos. 👍🏻
