All joking aside the world of field hockey bows is a bit of mine field. It can even boggle us and even the different brands can call their bows different names.

what are the differences between lowbow and extreme lowbow? Im a player who plays in first team and likes to dribble a lot. But i dont know what bow to chose for my new stick. Some sticks have like a cut in the head of the stick. Whats the utility for that?

Low bows or extreme low bows with a groove or concave face are best for players who drag flick and use aerials/lifts a lot. In my experience they’re a bit tricker to drive with but a great for 3D skills and quick dribbling.

Yes I would say so, it's just about finding a bow that's appropriate for how you play/ what you want to do!

A groove bow is a concave-faced stick. It's just a branding name for this from a few brands

@@S1sssSSSS Pros are it allows the ball to stay on the stick for dragflicking, cons are that you don't have a square face for hitting/slapping
