I think the biggest steal is Anders Lee. For $3.75 million you get a 40 goal scorer. Him playing with Barzal will be deadly this season. To me he's one of the most underrated players in the NHL. Also, I'd like to see your opinion on the worst contracts in the NHL!

I think Johnny should be near the top of the list, that kid is currently the best stick handler in the NHL, could be worth 10M or more, that being said I am happy he signed with my Flames

Before it even begins, Scheifele. And his is well into the next decade. This isn't some guy who's underpaid but coming up on a contract year and about to get paid: this is a guy who willingly took short money because he wants to win. Give me Scheifele + Marchessault (another guy who took short money long-term) over Tavares. Heck, I think Scheifele's already a little better overall than Tavares anyway.
