Have never tried this, I’ll have to practice this sometime once I can train again. I think have not thought about this move much because I’ve played in lower class a long time and the balls just don’t seem to go as fast or neat. Lying down at times then can also be a problem I feel

is it really dangerous to put your pointing finger on the stick for the drag flick? Never heard of that, before this video. I was wondering since I also saw it in a video of hertzberger who does it for penalty strokes, because he says it helps him put in more power

Everybody has its own theory. For us it doesn’t matter as long as you feel comfortable with it.

sorry, but i still don't know why to lay down. I can Cover the bottom half of the goal very good, but if the Attacke Hits the Ball it also can go into the upper half of the goal, can't it? please correct me if I'm wrong or describe it for me😅

With a hit the ball can never go into the net, only with a push or a flick. So if you see there will be a hit, in this way it is easier to cover the goal.

That is correct. Ideally a short person shouldn't start playing hockey at the age of 33 and move to the goal at 36. So I have to do the best I can. I am happy to hear alternatives to running out and having very little time to react ( growing taller isn't an option) :D
