Luv, luv, luv Lane’s game. Kid has mad skills. The only thing i don’t like is how he skates full bore without the puck. Howie Meeker (yes, I’m old) used to call it pitching hay. It’s when you skate with both hands on the stick while rocking your arms back and forth across your body. It literally looks like you’re chucking hay into the loft with a pitch fork. The proper, more efficient, stride is one hand on the stick, and arms pumping straight ahead like pistons. Surprised his coaches haven’t tried to get him to correct his stride.

habs missed out on one of the most exciting players to ever lace the skates , denis savard in his prime was the real deal , look no further we have a modern version of him in hutson , this kid has the same build , height and shiftiness that savard had and more , compare his skating , moves and positive vibes he brings in to a game that lets face it is like a full contact chess match , very predictable, a breath of fresh air for sure , this kid will brings loads of riveting moments in years to come , i m just hoping . that the fans give him breathing room . habs fans can are great but media can sure get on a players back and when they do players want out .
