Although Hocus Pocus was considered a flop during its original theatrical release in 1993, only bringing in around 39 million dollars on a budget of 28 million, it’s since become one of the most popular and rewatched movies around the Halloween season. And its sustained popularity over the last 29 years has now led Disney to release a sequel to the original film, Hocus Pocus 2, streaming on Disney+ September 30th. So, to prepare for the sequel, we’re gonna take a look back on the original 1993 film and recap everything that went down. But, if you haven’t watched Hocus Pocus already, make sure to go watch it first before continuing on with our recap.

When it was released in July 1993, it flopped at the box office. But due to it airing on TV every year, it has become very popular. The reason it was released in July is that Disney want to be released separately from The Nightmare Before Christmas

I don’t celebrate Halloween anymore if you want to know why I just don’t believe in it anymore but I don’t have a movie for you to do just stay in the in the spirit of things talk about the timeline of the Halloween films including the new one that’s coming out now and do not leave out Halloween 3 Play season of the witch just stay in the spirit of things if you know what I mean I don’t really celebrate Halloween because I just don’t believe it I just don’t believe in celebrating Halloween anymore because I just don’t believe that children should be right around in the streets and costumes going to the strangers houses and begging for fat you don’t candy and shit and also having them selves up and get high burden the next day and get in trouble with your parents and I just that I just don’t believe in the holiday of Halloween what purpose it is you can stay in the spirit of things to dissect the full timeline of the Halloween films or you can just go ahead and Cover on both films of hocus-pocus and part 2 of it if you like but other than that it will be cool if you cover on both films of hocus-pocus or you can still stay in the season of Halloween and cover on the whole tire timeline of the night call tire films that is regarded to Rob Zombie‘s version of Halloween and also John Carpenter and David Gordon Green Halloween films to see how they all that light up light up sorry I’m gonna say add up still the same deal other than that yeah
